HOW YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD WITH JUST A TAB EXTENSION?

Have you ever felt lost just scrolling on the internet for hours on end, without having an end goal? Well I will share with you some amazing tips to make the World Wearisome Web a little more interesting and helpful! Not just that, these extensions also have a positive impact on the environment as well so it’s a win-win!

My first piece of advice is to download Tab for a Cause. Tab for a Cause is a cool browser extension that shows you ads when you open a page. These ads pay to be on the site, so the money the site gains can be donated to charitable organisation of your choice. Right now they only have certain companies but this is expected to change in the future.

As you can see in the screenshot, the software will make your new tab screen beautiful! It shows you the time, the day, the date and a majestic new background picture that changes every day! You can also add many bookmarks like I have done. The search bar is in the top left allowing for quick access to the Internet.

Moving on, my next recommendation is to use Ecosia. Ecosia is a search engine that donates 80% of its profits into planting trees to help reduce global warming and preserve endangered species! And the best part is that it’s free! It is also a compatible search engine with Tab for a Cause. Ecosia is also more privacy friendly than google. It doesn’t ask to create an account and all of your searches are automatically deleted in a week!

My last recommendation is Amazon Smile. You may have heard of the popular online shopping site Amazon, but this version is even better. Amazon have recently released a new version of their site called Amazon Smile. Amazon Smile is just like regular Amazon, same prices, same items except that Amazon will donate a percentage of your order to another charity! And the best part is that Amazon is giving, not you meaning you pay the same prices.
